LATEST BRAND OBSESSION: VENUS OVER WATER

Hello Sweeties! Today we are going to talk about this amazing brand that i discovered very recently called Venus Over Water and how their distinctive pieces and fabrics won a special place in my heart from now on.

Checking their collections i couldn´t help but notice the enormous influence from Africa on their fabrics and designs, having such a variety and diversity of prints that i have never seen before and such rich colourful fabrics that would light up your day and even other people´s day just by wearing some of those bright and bold pieces, perfect to stand out from the crowd or maybe just to make you feel happy on a cloudy gray day, at least that happens to me whenever i wear colourful clothes on dull days..

Their pieces are feminine, modern but most importantly versatile which is what you should always look for when shopping.. either if you choose to buy a dress , jumpsuit or coat (jacket) you know that you can create several different looks with it and not only that but to be able to adapt it from season to season depending on how you style it. The best thing is to find pieces that you can transform them and go from a very professional work look to a more fun & perfect for ¨brunch with the girls¨type of outfit or why not a sensual vibe for a hot date with your love one, again always depending on the accessories and items you pair it with.

Hola Dulzuras! Hoy vamos a hablar acerca de una increíble marca que descubrí muy recientemente llamada Venus Over Water y como sus distintivas piezas y telas se han ganado un lugar especial en mi corazon de ahora en adelante.

Admirando sus colecciones no pude evitar denotar la enorme influencia proveniente de África que tienen sus telas y diseños como tal, teniendo una amplia diversidad de estampados que jamas había visto antes y en tal riqueza de colores que son capaces de iluminar tu día o porque no el de otra persona simplemente usando algunas de sus brillantes y audaces piezas, perfectas para destacar entre la multitud o quizás tan solo para alegrarte en uno de esos días nublados y grises, por lo menos funciona para mi cuando uso ropa colorida en días aburridos.

Sus piezas se caracterizan por ser femeninas, modernas pero lo mas importante es que son versátiles lo cual es muy importante ya que eso es lo que debemos buscar siempre a la hora de comprar.. ya sea que elijas un vestido, jumpsuit o abrigo (chaqueta) sepas que puedes armar diferentes atuendos con el y no solo eso sino tener la capacidad o posibilidad de poder adaptarlos para diferentes temporadas dependiendo de como lo estilices. Lo mejor es poder encontrar piezas que puedas transformar de acuerdo a la situación ya sea si deseas un look mas profesional para el trabajo, o quizás uno mas divertido para un almuerzo con tus amigas o porque no un look mas sensual para una cita con tu pareja, todo esto teniendo en cuenta los accesorios y otras piezas con que vas a combinarlo.

One other thing i loved about this brand is to know and actually see on photos how the designer Lucia Eastman makes by hand every single one of these pieces.. To see the effort and love that people put into make a single piece of item i am wearing makes me appreciate it even more.

From their collections i chose two items i truly adore and would love to have in my closet.. and those are a long yellow coat with such an amazing print on black in it and the dress that the model is wearing underneath it! they look so great together and i know that you can create so many outfits by wearing them separately also.
