THE PERFECT MERMAID DRESS

I am always in the hunt for different versions of classic pieces that as we all know they would never go out of style, but i still feel it is fun and healthy to search for updated versions of them and this one is the perfect example of an edgier mermaid dress, that is why when i saw it on Gojane.com i instantly fell in love with it.. me with a clear weakness for geometric shapes in clothes and accessories you can image how the cut out cleavage detail in a triangle shape got my heart!.

To balance the clearly visible cleavage right in the front of the dress it has a halter neck that i think is the best choice for comfort and also if what your looking for is to look sexy but not to the extreme that could fall in the ¨vulgar¨category.

Siempre estoy en la búsqueda de diferentes versiones de piezas clásicas que como todos sabemos no pasaran nunca de moda, pero es divertido y hasta sano buscar versiones mas actuales y modernas de dichas piezas y este vestido es el ejemplo perfecto de una versión mas audaz y sexy de los vestidos con corte tipo ¨Sirena¨, recuerdo que cuando lo vi en Gojane.com quede encantada con el inmediatamente.. y con mi clara debilidad por las figuras geométricas en atuendos y accesorios podrán imaginar como el escote frontal en forma de triangulo se adueño de mi corazón!

Para balancear el claramente visible escote en el frente del vestido tiene un cuello tipo ¨halter¨el cual pienso es la mejor opción si se busca comodidad y lucir sensual pero sin caer en el punto de verse vulgar.

The most important fact i could tell you about this dress is that it is so easy to wear with a light and comfortable fabric that adjust perfectly to your body and with the mix of a mermaid cut would be flattering for any body shape, you just need to don´t be afraid to try new things and see how they look on you before you dismiss them and think they would never work for your body shape just because some ¨fashion rules¨says so, be bold and experiment with clothes and create your perfect style and most importantly your unique and personal style. 

The color palette of this outfit i decided to keep it with related colors and almost monochromatic between the dress and the makeup i wore that day.. if you ask me where would i wear this dress i would say anywhere you would like to be the center of the attention because a dress like this one has that effect.

El dato mas importante que puedo decirles acerca de este vestido es el hecho de que es muy fácil de llevar con un tela cómoda y ligera que se ajusta perfectamente a tu cuerpo y contando con el corte sirena lo hace muy favorecedor para distintos tipos de cuerpo, solo tienen que no sentir temor de probar nuevos estilos y ver como lucen en ti antes de descartarlos solo porque las ¨reglas de moda¨ indican que no te deben favorecer, se atrevida y experimenta con la ropa y juega con ella hasta que encuentres tu estilo único y personal.

La paleta de colores para este atuendo la decidí mantener en colores afines y casi un look monocromático completamente entre el vestido y el maquillaje que lleve ese día.. si me preguntan donde usaría este atuendo les diría que seria para cualquier lugar donde quiera ser el centro de atención ya que un vestido como este logra eso mismo.

      Thank you brooke!! exactly that is what caught my eye about this dress, it was quite sexy because it has that cut out triangle in the center but it does not reveal much.
